Four Freedoms Park Conservancy

Four Freedoms Park Conservancy, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in June 2011. Today, the Conservancy programs Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park on Roosevelt Island, on behalf of the people of New York, and in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

The park is a public memorial to former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, whose term lasted from March 4, 1933 to April 12, 1945. Designed by architect Louis Kahn, the FDR Four Freedoms Park opened to the public on October 24, 2012 as  designated a New York State park.
