Arizona State University Art Museum
Founded in 1950 through a significant gift of American, Mexican, and European artworks from collector Oliver B. James, the ASU Art Museum is one of the leading contemporary art museums in the American West. A part of Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute for Design and The Arts, the museum draws upon the talent and perspectives provided by the university to advance its mission of providing an exchange of new ideas and experiences between students, artists, and the public through its exhibitions and programming.
