Acquavella Galleries at Art Basel Miami Beach 2021

Presenting a selection of modern and contemporary masterworks works and related paintings from Tom Sachs Rocket Factory NFT Project

The gallery will feature artists Miquel Barceló, Jean-Michel Basquiat, George Condo, Mark Grotjahn, Keith Haring, Willem de Kooning, Damian Loeb, Wayne Thiebaud, and Andy Warhol. A special presentation of paintings surrounding Tom Sachs’s Rocket Factory NFT project in addition to a launched physical rocket made as a replica of a completed rocket NFT will also be on view.

Launched in August 2021, Rocket Factory is a trans-dimensional manufacturing plant developed by Sachs that employs a community driven, do-it-yourself approach to creating NFTs. By utilizing existing NFTs and prefabricated customizations, Rocket Factory translates to multiple platforms in our physical and digital worlds that reshape how art is produced and distributed. For Art Basel Miami Beach 2021, Acquavella will offer the debut of new paintings related to Rocket Factory. Also on view will be an example of a Rocket Factory physical rocket.
