Friedman Benda presents DESIGN IN DIALOGUE – Episode 54: DOMITILLA DARDI

Inaugurated on April 1, 2020, Design in Dialogue is a series of online interviews hosted alternately by curator and historian Glenn Adamson (Wednesdays) and designer Stephen Burks (Fridays). Conversations are held on Zoom for 1 hour, beginning at 11AM EDT, including a participatory Q&A. Please join leading voices from the field — designers, makers, critics, and curators — as they discuss their work and ideas.

AUGUST 28: DOMITILLA DARDI, interviewed by Stephen Burks.
As museums around the world struggle to reopen, the MAXXI architecture museum in Rome has launched the innovative Casa Mondo exhibition on Instagram. @maxxicasamondo is the museum’s first digital exhibition and may even be the first of its kind to draw on archival material, feature a fully designed digital exhibition space by Formafantasma, and commission new digital content by seven internationally renowned designers including the Campana Brothers, Konstantin Grcic, and Patricia Urquiola. Stephen Burks will be in conversation with DOMITILLA DARDI, one of the exhibition’s curators, to discuss its formation, execution, and success at “home-delivered culture” during the global pandemic.
